Artisan Burgers

Enjoy a hearty burger made with house-made buns and locally sourced vegetables and proteins.

The Bayman Burger

An 8 oz grilled patty, bacon, fried onion and cheddar cheese and an in-house burger chutney.

Moose Burger

Local Newfoundland moose, mixed with flavourful ingredients in a 6 oz patty, topped with old cheddar cheese, bacon, crispy onions and an in-house burger chutney.

Traditional Burger

8 oz burger patty topped with tomato and lettuce and in-house burger chutney. Our take on a classic. Add cheese. Add bacon.

Chicken Cranberry Burger

Panko crusted chicken breast with cranberry mayo, mozzarella cheese, lettuce and tomato on a freshly baked bun.

Falafel Burger

Chickpeas, fresh garlic, onion, parsley and cilantro are used to create our vegetarian-friendly patty. It’s then fried to a golden brown and served with tzatziki sauce and feta.

Blue cheese and Bacon Burger

A delicious 8 oz burger patty topped with blue cheese, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato and our homemade in-house burger chutney.

BLT

Fresh baked white, whole wheat bread, or wrap with crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo.

Beef Dip

Shaved sirloin of beef, with crispy onions on a Kaiser, served with side au jus.

Chicken and Bacon Panini

Roasted chicken breast, crispy bacon, brie cheese, lettuce, tomato, basil mayo. Available on whole wheat bread, white bread, or a wrap.

Hot Turkey Sndwich

Roasted turkey breast, freshly baked bread, gravy and savoury dressing.

 

Club House

Roasted chicken breast, crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, black forest ham, cheddar cheese, mayo, 3 slices of toasted white or whole wheat bread. Also available in a wrap.

Smoked Salmon Panini

Spinach, red onion, capers, basil pesto mayonnaise, feta cheese, and slice smoked salmon on a freshly made focaccia bun.

Monte Cristo

A spin on a classic sandwich. Ham and mozzarella cheese sandwiched between two slices of freshly baked bread. Dipped in egg and fried to a golden brown.

House Cut Chips

Our chips are hand cut in-house using local Prince Edward Island potatoes.

Five Brothers Bergy Bits Poutine

Melted cheese curds and gravy are added to our signature fries for a delicious take on the classic poutine; everyone’s favourite.

Irish Curry Chips

We go all the way across the pond to Ireland to find our McDonnell’s curry. Once it lands at the pub, we use it to make our sauce, meaning this dish is 100% Irish.

Steak Chips

8 oz grilled steak, caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, peppercorn gravy and cheese curds.

Traditional Lunch at The Celtic Hearth

1892 Fish and Chips

2 pieces of Quidi Vidi 1892 beer battered fish & chips with mustard pickle tartar sauce. Served with your choice of fries, sweet potato fries, or side salad.

Pan-Fried Cod

A Newfoundland cod fillet pan-fried to a gold brown with Old Port scrunchions and mustard pickle tartar sauce.

Cod Au Gratin

Cod baked in a Carnation milk cheese sauce with a 3 cheese blend and panko crumb crust.

Braised Lamb Shepherd’s Pie

Slowly braised, the tender lamb is mixed with roasted vegetables, covered with mashed potato, Guinness gravy, smothered in cheddar cheese, and then baked.

Jiggs Dinner Pie

Carrots, turnip, salt beef, salt pork riblets, peas pudding, potato and turkey all topped with a flaky pastry and gravy.

Seafood Chowder

Crab, lobster, shrimp, scallops, mussels, salmon, and codfish simmered in a rich cream soup with bacon and dill. Add a garden or caesar salad to make a wonderful meal.

French Onion Soup

Sweet caramelized onions finished iwth a red wine reduction, rich beef broth, and scotch whiskey. Topped with mozzarella and parmesan cheese croutons. Add a garden or caesar salad to your soup to make a wonderful meal.

Turkey Soup

A slow-simmered turkey stock loaded with turkey, salt beef, carrots, onions, and turnip.

Spinach Salad

Strawberries marinated in sweet white balsamic vinegar, pickled beets, pickled red onions, sweet and spicy walnuts, feta cheese, kalamata olives, tomatoes, and a honey and balsamic dressing.

Caesar Salad

Crisp romaine tossed in a creamy house-made caesar dressing with bacon, parmesan, and croutons.

Tacos

Although tacos may not sound like a local fare, The Celtic Hearth's tacos are filled with locally sourced cod and moose.

Fish Taco Duo

Two freshly made fish tacos.
1. Blackened cod, corn salsa, cilantro sour cream and pickled vegetables.
2. Beer battered cod, spicy coleslaw, sweet chili sour cream, grilled pineapple.

Newfoundland Moose Tacos

Moose meat braised in chili spices, partridgeberry pickles and pickled red onion in two soft tacos.
